GSSM entered the NFL player representation business when Gil was introduced to QB Deiter Brock from Jacksonville State. Shortly thereafter, Gil made headlines across North America when he engineered a blockbuster deal with the Los Angeles Rams that made Brock the team’s starting quarterback in 1985.

Over one hundred contract negotiations later, Gil Scott Sports Management is universally recognized as a pre-eminent NFL player representative agency. Asked about the most rewarding aspect of his career, Gil says the “loyalty of my clients and the business relationships that have become friendships is what mean the most to me”. GSSM currently represents several active NFL players.
