Tim Fleiszer, Partner


Tim Fleiszer is the first player in Canadian Football League history to win four Grey Cup championshipswith four different teams. Selected 1st overall in the 1998 CFL Draft, Fleiszer won more championships than any player, coach or executive in the CFL during his decade-long career.

A leader on and off the field, Tim was a team captain on three teams (Montreal, Ottawa and Edmonton)   and a CFL Players Association representative for four years. Throughout his ten year career, Fleiszer was passionate about his involvement in community-building initiatives. He was twice nominated for the Tom Pate award, given to the CFL player who reflects outstanding community service.

A cum laude graduate of Harvard University (B.A. '98), Fleiszer joined Gil Scott Sports Management as a partner in January 2008. Tim is also the Founder and President of Clutch Sports Alliance.

Rob Fry, NFLPA/CFLPA Certified Player Agent


Rob Fry has successfully negotiated several pro football contracts.

Fry has front office experience ranging from executing team operations to leading negotiations for corporate sponsorship agreements. He has built longstanding relationships with teams' management, staff and scouting departments throughout the professional sports industry.

Prior to joining the GSSM team, Rob managed football operations at a firm where he mentored over 50 agents and helped broker opportunities for many athletes.

Rob is actively involved in the Big Brothers & Big Sisters Mentoring Program. He is a member of a Christian volunteer group through “The Project”, dedicated to serving Edmonton’s homeless community through food and clothing donations, friendship, and mentorship.

Rob attended the University of Saskatchewan receiving a Bachelors degree in Marketing before continuing on to earn his Masters in Sports Leadership from the University of Concordia Chicago.  

Gil Scott, President


Gil Scott has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the business of sports. A graduate of Michigan State University (B.A. ’73), he has been representing professional athletes since 1979. Mr. Scott was the first Canadian contract advisor to be certified by the NFLPA and has negotiated over 300 contracts in his career; including the first 1 million dollar contract for a CFL player in Western Canada and the richest contract for kicker, at that time, in the history of the NFL.


Mr. Scott served as the Sports Consultant for the Royal Bank’s Sports Professionals Program from 1997 through 2009. He currently serves as a consultant with Clutch Private Financial Management.


A man of strong faith, Gil is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of YES TV and Crossroads Christian Communications which produces 100 Huntley Street Canadas longest running daily television program. He previously  served for twelve years as the Chairman of Equip Canada, a non- profit  specializing in the development of effective, international Christian leaders. On this project, Gil worked side-by-side with EQUIP’s founder John Maxwell, the renown author and speaker. This organization has trained over five million Christian leaders worldwide on leadership.
